The function, which appears to be an AI text-to-image generator, will enable users to produce photos with brief text descriptions. In addition to AI capabilities, the smartphone is verified to include a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.


Introducing Magic Canvas on the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra The official Motorola India account posted a video demonstrating the use of the AI-powered feature on X, formerly known as Twitter. One of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra customers launches the "Create with AI" app-like interface in the video. Two options are visible on the screen: Magic Canvas and Style Sync. The user proceeds to the Magic Canvas screen, where they write a text prompt describing a scene, and the AI constructs it automatically. Additionally, the user is shown sharing the image on WhatsApp, indicating that Magic Canvas probably lets users download and share produced images directly with other apps.


Although the Style Sync feature was not demonstrated, its description on a single frame makes clear that customers would be able to take a picture of their ensemble to create a corresponding wallpaper. The AI-integrated camera technology on the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will also provide additional stabilization while filming videos and enabling the capture of long exposure and focusing shots. Additionally, the company said in a press piece that AI will help with taking better action shots. The internal Moto AI of the smartphone manufacturer powers AI features. The business claims that Moto AI is an integrated AI model that is present throughout the system and is used in the camera, generative theming application, navigation, and search functionalities. Additionally, options for content creation and personalization are alluded to. The Moto AI technological specifics were not disclosed by the company.


Furthermore, Motorola disclosed that users of the Edge 50 series will have access to AI-powered editing features like Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and Photo Unblur in the Google Photos app. On Google Pixel smartphones that are compatible, these functionalities are already accessible.
